It helps if you mention

  • the app version (currently 1.0.0; it is shown under More → About);
  • your phone model and Android version;
  • what you did, what you expected and what happened instead.

Please do not send a backup file unless we ask for it: it contains the names and figures you entered. We cannot see your data otherwise, because it never leaves your device.

Frequent questions

Is the app free?

Yes. Every function is free. There are no purchases, no subscription and no advertising.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No. There is no account, and the app works without a connection. It does not even have the Android permission to use the internet.

Where are my structures stored?

On your device, in the app's private storage. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. Android's cloud backup is switched off for the app, so the data is not copied to Google Drive or to a new phone by the system.

How do I move my data to another phone?

Open More → Export and backup, create a backup file and send it to yourself. On the other phone choose Restore from a file in the same place. Restoring adds the structures from the file; it does not overwrite what is already there.

What happens if I uninstall the app?

The data is removed with it. Create a backup file first if you want to keep it.

How is an indirect stake worked out?

The stakes along each chain of companies are multiplied, and the results of all chains are added up. In the example structure Íñigo holds 45.00% of the holding company, which holds 70.00% of Taller Solana, and he holds another 10.00% directly: 45.00% × 70.00% + 10.00% = 41.50%. In the app, tap a figure to see its routes.

Why does a cap table show 33.34%, 33.33% and 33.33%?

Displayed percentages are rounded so that a table adds up to 100%. The app uses the largest-remainder method: the holders with the largest leftover fraction get the last hundredth.

What do Subsidiary, Associate and Minority mean here?

They are round, illustrative labels. A company is shown as a subsidiary when its holder, together with the companies that holder already controls, has more than 50%; as an associate from an effective stake of 20%; otherwise as a minority stake. The law, accounting rules and your articles of association apply their own tests.

Can I rely on the results for a transaction?

Treat them as an illustration of the figures you entered. The app gives no legal, tax or investment advice and does not check anything against a register. Take advice from a lawyer, a tax adviser or your gestoría before acting.

How do I delete everything?

More → Export and backup → Erase everything. You can also delete a single structure under More → Structures, or uninstall the app.

See also the privacy policy and the release notes. We cannot give legal, tax or investment advice by e-mail either.
