Equity Structure Planner

Privacy policy

Your data stays on your device.

This policy describes what Equity Structure Planner for Android, version 1.0.0 (package equity.structureplanner.app) does with the information you enter. In short: it is stored on your phone or tablet and is not sent to us or to anyone else.

In force from 9 October 2026

01Who is responsible and how to reach us

Equity Structure Planner is published by its makers at equitystructurelab.store. There is one address for every question about the app, including every privacy question and request: [email protected].

The app is offered in Spain. This policy refers to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the protection of personal data and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).

02What the app processes

Everything in the app is typed in or chosen by you. It is kept in the app’s private storage on your device and does not leave it.

The holders you enter can be other people, such as partners, family members or investors. You decide what to enter and you are responsible for having a reason to keep that information. We never receive it.

03What the app does not do

  • No account, no registration, no login.
  • No server and no cloud storage. The released app has no internet permission.
  • No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no advertising ID, no tracking, no profiling.
  • No notifications.
  • No access to location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, calendar, SMS or call log.
  • No payments, purchases or subscriptions.
  • Android’s backup of app data is switched off for the app, so the system does not copy your data to Google Drive or to another device.

The app requests no permission that needs a declaration or a prompt.

04When data leaves the device

Only when you do it yourself:

  • Sharing. When you share a PDF report, a diagram image (PNG) or a backup file (JSON), the file is created on the device and handed to the Android share sheet. You pick the app that receives it, for example e-mail, a messenger or a drive. From then on that app’s terms apply.
  • Restoring. Restore reads the one backup file you select with the Android file picker. It is read on the device.
  • Links. The links under About (e-mail, privacy policy, website) open your mail app or your browser.

05If you write to us

An e-mail to [email protected] sends us whatever you write, together with your e-mail address. We use such messages only to answer you and delete them when they are no longer needed.

06Third parties

No third party receives data from the app. Google Play distributes the app and may process data about its installation and download under Google’s own privacy policy; that happens outside the app.

07How long data is kept, and how to delete it

Your data stays on the device until you delete it. You can delete:

  • a single item, in the place where you edit it;
  • a whole structure, under More → Structures;
  • everything, under More → Export and backup → Erase everything;
  • everything, by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage in the Android settings.

We hold no copy of it, so there is nothing for us to delete, export or correct: you can do all of that in the app. Files you have exported are your own copies and are not affected when you delete data in the app.

08Your rights

The GDPR and the LOPDGDD give you rights over personal data that somebody holds about you, among them access, rectification and erasure. Because the content of the app never reaches us, in practice these rights concern the e-mails you may have sent us. Write to [email protected] to exercise them.

If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you can complain to the Spanish supervisory authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

09Children

The app is a business tool for adults and is not directed at children.

10Not advice

The app illustrates figures entered by the user. It gives no legal, tax or investment advice.

11Changes to this policy

If a later version of the app handles data differently, for example with an optional cloud backup, this policy will be replaced by a new version with a new date before that version is released.
